Broad Peak is an expansion for the game K2 which includes two new scenarios inspired by the achievements of the Polish climbers on the Broad Peak massif in 1984. Each scenario has its own board and special rules that make the gameplay varied and exciting.

The Race to the Top scenario is fast and tense. The game is 3 days shorter, the players’ decks have fewer acclimization cards, mountaineers don’t have tents and building snow caves is their only hope. All this make the scenario a more dynamic and exciting version of K2.

The Broad Peak Traverse scenario is more strategic than the base game. The board shows three peaks of the Broad Peak massif and players have the opportunity to gain additional victory points for traversing all three of the peaks. Completing all three goals is almost impossible, especially because moutaineers have only one tent available, which forces players to make tough decisions and adtapt to changing weather conditions.
