Many years ago, a trading vessel brought Alhazred to Gravos as the ambassador of the Mlechcha nomads, ostensibly intent on discussing a truce. It soon became clear that he had a personal purpose beyond his public one. Through his duplicitous efforts, he both helped and hindered several of the key developments in the kingdom. When Eve Torborn suffered the same treatment, she said in front of the Council, “There is nothing Alhazred wouldn’t do for his Lord, and nothing his other self wouldn’t do against.”

The player controlling Alhazred may play any tactic card as if it were a “Betrayal” card. The card’s original effect is replaced by “You can place your Captain and Soldier on an opposed House.”

This is an upgrade that was originally available to those who backed the Dogs of War Kickstarter.
